The S-Anon/S-Ateen Service Structure
"As depicted in the chart [below], traditional authority in S-Anon flows from the individual groups
toward the fellowshipwide decision-making that takes place at the World
Service Conference (WSC). Ideally, groups elect service representatives
from their … Area. Each Area is invited to send a Delegate to the WSC held
once a year in July to participate in the decision making for S-Anon as a
whole. Any individual member, group, intergroup, or Area is welcome to
submit one or more motions, through their Area Delegate or Regional
Trustee, for consideration and possible submission to the Conference. The
decisions taken by the Conference are brought back to the local groups
through the same channels of communication. (See Part 3, "Presenting
Motions to the World Service Conference.")" [Taken from page 33 of the
S-Anon/S-Ateen Service Manual.]
Service positions are available at every service level, including the
group or local level, and the regional or international level. We
invite you to familiarize yourself with the structure outlined below and
consider becoming actively involved. To learn more about a particular level
